Boko Haram Madness: New Considerations for New Challenges
Boko Haram is facing two new challenges: the rise of the farmers is the most significant new challenge that threatens the sect’s status quo. The second new challenge faced by the group is the foreign intervention, which in our view is less worrisome and of particular appeal to the sect.
Rise of the Farming Villages
It has been clear following the events of the past couple of days that the farming villages have risen to fight to save themselves from the unabated carnage of Boko Haram. From Bama to Chibok, to Rann, Shuwa and Dikwa villages in Borno, and also now in villages in Adamawa, the farmers have decided to bear arms and use all means necessary to face the Boko Haram invaders head-on in armed and spiritual battle. They have waged a “Jihad (struggle)” against Boko Haram, no longer depending on the State security service.
In recognition of this, Boko Haram has obviously had a very limited and local agenda: destroying farming in the north and the northern economy and Nigeria’s food stability and local food supply. Further elucidating the limited time and scope of the sect’s agenda, we realize that the sect has fully engaged in terror that not only annihilates the local community that it depends on for food, but also depletes any local support it can get from the same community. This is suicidal to say the least. No group or organization that has a long-term plan, destroys its local food source and local acceptability. Boko Haram had a time limited plan to inflict as much causality on the local farmers and fiber of the north and Nigeria’s food sufficiency, and then to invite the foreigners.
Foreign Intervention: The Time Factor
Foreign intervention in Nigeria predicts protraction. Almost everywhere in the world foreign powers get involved, the crisis never ends. We can predict that a crises that Yar’Adua curbed in weeks, will now extend in Nigeria for decades. Unlike Nigeria’s intervention in Liberia which Nigeria satisfactorily solved and completely stabilizes in a few years, with Boko Haram now with foreign intervention, one can predict the crises will manage to stay alive for over ten years.
If there are sponsors or failures of the Nigerians security services that need be exposed and that need their heads to roll along with those of ours, why will the governor of Borno state be hesitant to expose these? Obviously to him ours are not heads but merely mud balls rolling in red sauce. Heads are heads of the cabal, military chief’s, heads of defense and executive leadership; those are what our leadership consider “heads,” our deaths and our “heads” that have been rolling in our blood are to them, mere disposable farmers’ chicken-heads.

They have waged a “Jihad (struggle)” against Boko Haram, no longer depending on the State security service.
The villagers have scored some of the most significant victories against the sect in these encounters.
Over 300 terrorists have been killed in the hands of the villagers in less than 10 days of armed resistance and several dozen have been arrested. Weapons and transport equipment used by the cultists have been seized by the villagers...How Boko Haram May Face The Villagers Threat
In light of the determined, brave resistance of the villages the terror sect has prior enjoyed the free ransack of, Boko Haram is calculated to attempt to modify their techniques to prevent such massive losses of their lives and equipment. One new technique the sect already demonstrated in attempt to inflict carnage from a distance is the use of long range weapons. In an attack on Bama, a now fully armed village this weekend, the terrorists reportedly fired rockets at the village market square from a distance. We can expect such similar long-range artillery attacks from this cowardly sect in the coming weeks. In light of this, we will later recommend strategies the villages should utilize to defy the sect of success. It must be noted that Boko Harm acquires these weapons from its easy conquests of Nigeria’s military barracks’. The Giwa raid yielded the sect tons of rifles and missiles as eye-witnesses informed us.
The International Coalition
France, Canada, The United States, Israel, France, all these nations have suddenly decided to get involved in the Nigerian terror crises. Their sudden realization of the seriousness of Nigeria’s terror threat under Jonathan comes after the cult abducted 234 girls from a secondary school in Chibok, Borno state, April 14th this year. Though this abduction is not the worst this cult has done, this event raised significant global awareness that appears to have forced action from these foreign States. Boko Haram however has done much worse, comfortably and under the radar of the watching eyes of the world in the past four years of Jonathan’s government. Boko Haram has abducted thousands of men and women; raped the women and forcefully, at knife-point, conscripted the young men. Boko Haram has killed an estimated 40-80,000, injured over 245,000 and displaced over 3 million citizens in the northern parts of Nigeria.
The western intervention which is taking place after the recent abduction however is surprisingly an obvious desire of the cult. It has been noticed that the persons claiming to be Abubakar Shekau in video releases over the years, have always offered open invitations to the west, almost begging for them to come. “Shekau” in almost all his videos has always called the names, “Francois Hollande,” “Obama,” and “Margret Thatcher” or perhaps “Queen Elizabeth.”
Apparently, being involved in a battle against these foreign nations has always been in the terror sect’s interest. Boko Haram has always craved western participation in the war and always desired western boots on Nigerian soil. The reasons for this are difficult to imagine, however, while inviting foreigners into Nigeria’s north, the terror sect has not particularly targeted foreigners and foreign interests in Nigeria. Their target has remained literally limited to destabilization and decimation of Nigeria’s north.
Boko Haram: Seeking a Rhythm to The Carnage
If 95% of the attacks of the Boko Haram terror cult since President Jonathan assumed office are to be studied, one begins to see an undeniable pattern. What has Boko Haram done the past four years? 1. In the initial stages, Boko Haram began by bombing Churches literally every Sunday. This was evidently aimed at instigating religious crises in Nigeria. Religious crises in Nigeria will promote disintegration of the nation, a desire of southern elements more than northern players.

This was evidently aimed at instigating religious crises in Nigeria. Religious crises in Nigeria will promote disintegration of the nation, a desire of southern elements more than northern players.
When organizations like Muslims Against Terror and brave northern leaders like Sheikh Gumi, late Sheikh Albani Zaria (killed by Boko Haram), Sheikh Jingir, Sheikh Pakistani to mention a few, stood up and thrashed the activities of the cult in the middle of 2012; calling it demonic and promoting Muslims to defend Churches, the terror cult suddenly stopped attacking Christians and went after a new target; Imams and farming villages. 2. So we get to the second target of Boko Haram: The northern poor and farmers.
Boko Haram has since the middle of 2012 and through the emergency rule from may 2013 to date, gone on an expensive mission targeting farmers and farming villages from Benue to Borno with the aim to maim, frustrate and displace any and every farming village in sight. Boko Haram has aggressively invested on and engaged on a mission to deplete and destroy the only resource in Nigeria’s north: farming.
The reasons for this well financed and expensive mission against Nigeria’s farmers in the north and in whose interest such activity can be is left to the imagination, however, analyzing both points of Boko Haram’s engagement over the four years of the Jonathan administration, one cannot avoid seeing its sponsorship as coming from foreign quarters possibly interested in farming in Nigeria, and definitely from quarters of either people who are pro-destabilization and disintegration, anti-north, interested in the land of the farmers, or northerners who dislike the north and Nigeria and wish to push frustration, suspicion, famine and disintegration. Boko Haram pays as much as $3000 as revealed in a recent BBC report, to boys in Cameroun and Niger to recruit them to decimate farming villages in Nigeria’s north. According to the report, the terrorist leadership pays them big bonuses, the more farmers they are successful in killing. Why does Boko Harm hate Nigeria’s farmers?
Boko Haram: A Short Term Agenda
In view of the above mentioned points, one realizes that contrary to the submission of Nigeria’s President in France, Boko Haram has never had an agenda of taking over Nigeria. Had Boko Haram had such agenda, it could have achieved this rather simply. Nigeria’s military today is so underfinanced; they lack the ability to resist a Boko Haram incursion against national interests and the capital, Abuja. Boko Haram and the Niger Delta Tompolo civilian force sponsored by the Nigerian government are both better equipped and motivated today than the army that is severely undermined under the Jonathan administration.

The effects of sabotage and corruption on the State army have been elaborated by the Pentagon and United States officials involved in Nigeria’s mission to find the abducted girls. In contrast, the current administration has financed the development of a civilian army of ex-militant, Tompolo with millions of dollars. Boko Haram and Tompolo’s army both have night vision goggles, while the Nigerian army does not have such equipment. The disadvantage of the Nigerian army came to public light, if it was not realized in our exposes and those of SaharaReporters, when there was mutiny at the Army division 7 in Borno. The soldiers there could not take it anymore and according to confirmed reports, actually attempted to kill the GOC.
In recognition of this, Boko Haram has obviously had a very limited and local agenda: destroying farming in the north and the northern economy and Nigeria’s food stability and local food supply. It is displeasing that other African countries could not get involved with troops and equipment in addressing Nigeria’s terror crises as Nigeria used to do for them in the past. A local, ECOWAS and African originated address of the terror crises if Nigeria had had good leadership, would have potentially solved this rather non complex problem, quickly and completely. A local armed civilian Patriots resistance, as worked for Algeria during its 1991-2000 Black decade, if the governors of the affected stats and the President f Nigeria honestly cared for the people and intended to end the terror, would have provided a quick and effective end to the problem: the locals know the terrain and the enemy more than anyone else with whatever sophisticated equipment of surveillance and mass murder they bring.
Foreign Intervention: New Strategies of the Terrorists
With the foreigners here, Boko Haram is expected to engage in new strategies that tamper with international consciousness. The recent attack in Cameroun with the possible kidnap of up to ten Chinese nationals is possibly the beginning of a new desperate approach. It is advisable that all foreigners within Nigeria, Cameroun, Niger, Chad, CAR and Algeria, update their security measures. Boko Haram is expected to be on the prowl for foreigners they can kidnap and utilize to negotiate with the foreigners and use as aerial bombing shields.
No Government
Global participants in Nigeria have realized as most Nigerians have for the past four years, that Nigeria does not have a government. John Kerry, Senator McCain, Hillary Clinton, New York Times, The Economist, News.com.Au, The London Times, to mention a few foreign observers have professed this in one form or the other in the recent weeks since the spotlight was on Nigeria. A recent statement purported to have been made by the governor of Borno State elucidates this further. The governor allegedly said that if he opened up, “heads will roll.” Apparently the governor of Borno is not opening up to prevent heads from rolling. So what are heads? We the masses have seen thousands of farmers heads rolling.

ENDS Recommendations, Mission
Of particular interest to the ENDS organization is the safety of life and welfare of the poorest and most affected Nigerian masses. In light of the fight and armed resistance against Boko Haram; as the most successful strategy against the sect today, we support the procurement of all weapons of self defense by Nigeria’s farming villages and a continued brave armed resistance against the marauding terrorists.
We have thus far distributed battery operated Bullhorns and aerosol spray hand-held alarms, to Bama and Biu and sent others to and Gamboru-Ngala, Dikwa and to Kwa Busar. We intend to supply many of these alarm devises to all most affected communities to utilize in an organized vigilante alert defense set-up. We have also commenced the distribution of intruder detection equipment that the villages shall be utilizing to monitor their surroundings. These villages now suspect to rocket attacks are advised to have several rotating look-outs with alarms and an alarm alert chain to alert the entire village in the event of attempted attacks, this system akin to the nuclear attack and artillery alert systems applied in western nations and Israel during its wars.
We also advise the villages divide up their markets and market days so they are never gathered together in large numbers; to reduce possibility of causality from Boko Haram attacks of any sort, till we the civilians have exterminated the threat by cutting off their food supply, link to community and finally by invading and decimating them .
Civilians Will End Boko Haram in One Month If Military Pulls Out
We will support the villagers in any armed attempt to invade and engage the terrorists in their hideouts. It has been made public information that the Nigerian armed forces are ill-equipped, unable and currently uninterested in engaging the terrorists. The people on the contrary are willing, motivated and able. Vigilante’s in Nigeria’s north have offered that the military can now be pulled out as the President of Nigeria wishes. In this event, the villagers will cooperate with the foreign partners and are poised and ready to invade and clear all bushes of the terrorists in one month.

The Truth about Boko Haram, CIA, USA, Shekau & the 200 Girls
Communiqué from the proceedings of the 4th ENDS.ng Consultative Assembly; held via global media conference on the 10th of May, 2014. Re: Chibok Abduction, The Best Approach on National Security, and Risk Management of Provocative Tensions in Light of Suspicion, Failure and Conspiracies.
There are countless conspiracies being disseminated about the causes, failures and implications of the current state of the nation and the management of Boko Haram terror. Increasingly, the following and more questions and accusations are floating across various media platforms: Were the girls really abducted? Is this, or rather, this is US’ ultimate technique to invade Nigeria; this is CAN (Christian Association of Nigeria); this is Jonathan; this is Jonathan, CAN, CIA and the man; and numerous other conspiracies.
In lieu of the above, we release the following statements, which we believe are in the best interest of the Nigerian citizenry and foreign partners:
1. Who is Shekau: Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau is a mythical figure, empowered and held in existence by the news media. According to military spokesperson, Maj. General Chris Olukolade, as contained in a press statement on Saturday, “’Shekau’ is a title and not an individual.” [DHQ claims Abubakar Shekau is not Boko Haram leader’s real name; DailyPost.ng; 10th May, 2014] “Talking about the personality that has been presenting himself as head of that group, besides knowing the fact that the term Shekau is more of a title than a name, there are many issues around it that makes it still fake. I don’t want to get into the details of that.” – Olukolade.
This statement comes after the United States Special Forces team arrived in Abuja to assist Nigerian security services in rescuing the 234 Chibok abducted girls.
Local and international media have curiously released several different versions of Abubakar Shekau without appropriate disclaimers. This media slackness has helped promote Boko Haram’s narcissistic goals. “Shekau” variations include a muscular version, a “Shekau” with a broken nose of average build, and a particularly lanky Shekau. Others include electronic versions of “Shekau” with abnormal movements and improperly positioned appendages. A top US think-tank, the CFR (Council of Foreign Relations) has acknowledged the various impersonations/person-variations of Shekau as promoted by the media. “On 20 August 2013, NOS (Dutch Broadcasting Foundation) announced that Shekau had died recently. Allegedly, Shekau was wounded a few weeks earlier and transported to Cameroon, where he died.” [Wikipedia archives of March 24th, 2014; Pre abduction—this was revised after the abduction crises with a new global objective].
The conduct of local and international media as such promotes Boko Haram’s desires to instill endearing fear in Nigerians and immortality in their leadership profile. Nigeria’s military confirmed the mortal wounding of a version of Shekau in August of 2013. This was verified by Dutch media as referenced above. With media’s unchecked promotion of all Shekau messages, “Shekau” remains immortal and immutably powerful. The effect of the release of the terror leaders press releases is tantamount to media terrorism and does not help in abating Boko Haram terror, which has strategic aims to instill fear and surrender via these well scripted messages of “scary” heroin intoxicated (as recognized from body itch behaviors)“Shekaus’.”
According to Raphael F. Perl, Specialist in International Affairs, Foreign Affairs and National Defense Division, Congressional Research Service [Terrorism, The Media, And The Government: Perspectives, Trends, And Options For Policymakers]:
“Terrorists need publicity, usually free publicity that a group could normally not afford or buy. Any publicity surrounding a terrorist act alerts the world that a problem exists that cannot be ignored and must be addressed. From a terrorist perspective, an unedited interview with a major figure is a treasured prize. … They seek a favorable understanding of their cause, if not their act. … Legitimacy. Terrorist causes want the press to give legitimacy to what is often portrayed as ideological or personality feuds or divisions between armed groups and political wings.”
Shekau should be considered DEAD and the media if interested in assisting the war on terror should bury this terror title. Global practice on anti-terrorism, details the role of the media in only releasing information in the best interest of the security of the people and abstaining from the promotion of terrorists. Most terror releases need only to be communicated to State security departments.
2. US Interest in Sponsoring and Fostering Terror in Nigeria: There is no credible evidence to this suspicion. The United States would be doing a poor job if Boko Haram was their technique to invade or dismantle Nigeria. Boko Haram is hardly successful at achieving this; what they have most to their credit is the destruction of Nigeria’s northern farmers and farming villages. The United States has professed reluctance to engage against Boko Haram in the best interest of their people. Till date, Boko Haram has not targeted US interests and US will like to keep it this way.

The United States has professed reluctance to engage against Boko Haram in the best interest of their people. Till date, Boko Haram has not targeted US interests and US will like to keep it this way.
Only seven US Special Force men were sent to Nigeria as a statement of their reserved engagement. Sponsorship of Boko Haram terror can more plausibly be found toward the Middle East and Europe; as well as via the “missing $20-127 billion.” The abduction of French nationals earned Boko Haram terrorism a whopping sum of millions of dollars. This is direct sponsorship sought. Nigerian politicians to the top executive level have been directly implicated in support for Boko Haram terror. The nation’s Vice President, has been clearly implicated. Nigerians must responsibly and effectively address Boko Haram terrorism, its sponsorship and solutions at the local level; this includes from the Presidency, local politicians and individual level.
Of course, the United States has files on Boko Haram terror activities, connections and links. In seeking out the abducted girls, the US did not come to Nigeria to conduct fresh investigations, but came with folders and dossiers with actionable information harvested and available over the years. Nigeria’s failure to secure and utilize information readily available via media interception and aerial surveillance is a result of our failed, hopelessly corrupt administration and not the fault of those able and capable to mine data on their and foreign nations security situations.
The US team has already provided information on the location and movement of the girls. They first notified us that they were located in Sambisa forest, verifying information that ENDS exclusively provided Nigerians on April 25th. More recent reports indicate the US team relaying the translocation of the girls to a forest in Gombe.
3. Were The Girls Truly Abducted: Yes, ENDS has verified via its personal connections with people on the ground in the affected regions, that Nigeria’s girls were actually abducted by the terrorists. We have been in touch with the actual families; this is no “911.” The government of Borno released a detailed Press statement Saturday in which they informed that in keeping with international conventions on the rights of children, they were not at liberty to release the images of our poor girls who we allowed to be abducted by terror, due to our complacency and tolerance of worthless, criminal leadership and community elders. Politicizing and religion-izing this abduction is sheer wickedness. These victims from Chibok Government Girls School, as well as most victims of Boko Haram terror over the four years, cut across religious and geographical boundaries.
4. Root Cause, Support and Sponsorship of Boko Haram II: We the people are the root cause of the unlimited success of Boko Haram terror in Nigeria since the inception of the Goodluck Jonathan administration. By electing this president who was already implicated in militant sponsorship in Bayelsa, we signed off the nation to a future of terror. Our failure to act and our obsession with firing shots at the “opposition,” the “other religion,” the “other ethnic group,” the “other nation,” and any “other” we can find, is to blame for the success of Boko Haram terror. Very few of us have braved the risks and gone ahead to make solid proclamations against the terror group since its onset. Only today do we see prominent leaders issuing strong statements of condemnation and invoking action. We the people have been caught in silent approval of Boko Haram’s carnage because it is/was not prevalent in “our” areas or affecting “our” spheres of life. Today, Boko Haram has been pushed to marginal communities and even the leadership in Borno, possibly of different ethnicity from the areas around Boko Haram’s operational axis, are more complacent.
We have seen northern youth rise up and burn down properties and religious sanctuaries, as puppet warriors when called upon by self imposed northern leaders. We have seen the Ahmed Datti lead Council for Sharia in Nigeria, call for war in regard to beauty pageants, Osama, so-called Sharia banking; but we are yet to see their calls for Jihad against Boko Haram, and we do not require it of his council.
We failed for the many years of Boko Haram carnage, to see clear condemnations fromm the Supreme Council on Islamic Affairs, from the office and organization of the Sultan. But these leaders are not alone in the blame. What have we the people done? Have we since gathered with the same fervor we do when we feel our religion is threatened, to go to Sambisa and exterminate Boko Haram? Have we the people pushed for our right to defend ourselves and gone to protect our people? But we are the first to blame the US, and eager to declare that we know how to fight and are ready to wage battle against other ethnic groups or religions that share and face the same problems of poverty, administrative oppression and insecurity that we all face in the hands of the government and Cabal terrorists and Boko Haram.
The real sponsor of Boko Haram is the image we see in the mirror. Not the US, not CAN, not Jonathan, but our very selves, because if we participated in more than divisive riots, and took a single physical action against first Boko Haram terror then government terror, Nigeria would not be in the shameful state it is today and our girls will not be subjected to Boko Haram rape.
Groups like the Muslims Against Terror, headed by Dr. JP Amadi Jnr., and individuals like Sheikh Gumi, late Sheikh Albani Zaria, Sheikh Jingir, Sheikh Pakistani, and others not mentioned, have been bold enough to risk their lives in spelling out the truth to Boko Haram from the onset. Many have lost their lives in the process, but these are the people with a difference and not partakers in the sponsorship of this monster.
Conclusion: Boko Haram has the ability to engage and defeat Nigeria. They have the vehicles, equipment, morale, skills, finance and media advantage that if they so desired, they could drive right to Nigeria’s capital and overthrow our government.
In a Wikileaks release, during discussions post annihilation of Boko Haram by the Yar’Adua government, it was mentioned that the error Mohammed Yusuf made was accepting a header, “Western Culture is Bad,” “Boko Haram,” as against a more favorable and embraceable caption like, “Crusade against malgovernance.” Had Mohammed Yusuf done so, perhaps today he will be the leader of Nigeria.
We have the errors and drug overdose derived blunders of Boko Haram, to thank for the present limitation of the crises, not our actions/inactions or the helplessness and treachery of our government and State security services.
Comment: As a final personal rendition, I must say that Nigerians should be thankful that a person like me (Dr. Peregrino Brimah) has no political intentions. If a man like me was ever governor or President of Nigeria, I would for the first two weeks in office, command every single Nigerian who has done nothing other than participate in the dissemination of rumors, or the participation in or incitement of divisive and ethnic riots and strife, and not actively fought the government or civilian terrorists, to two weeks of kneeling down with hands up on the road side.
Involvement of ENDS
ENDS has been publicly involved in the war against terrorism since March 18th, 2013. The organization has provided Civilian-JTF and communities of Borno, several tools to assist in the war against Boko Haram. Recently as featured on Borno State Television and NTA in April of 2014, ENDS donated Taser torch-lights, pepper spray and walkie-talkie’s, procured since mid 2013, to the Civilian-JTF to assist in their frontline engagements. In May 2014, ENDS commenced the delivery of Bullhorn alarms for affected communities to alert their people of impending Boko Haram attacks.

EXPOSED: No More Boko Haram, It's The Soldiers Doing Things ––Military Sources
Top level military men in the Nigerian army who spoke to us [ENDS], and another top Nigerian blogger/ activist on condition of full anonymity, have further validated shocking reports recently revealed by the Voice of America, VoA, about organized, top command sabotage in the ranks of the army, with army operated ambush and assassination squads.
In total 1,710 people were killed in attacks by “unknown” military uniform wearing assassins and incendiarists across Nigeria last week alone.
Apparently troubled by the spate of events in the northeast and around the nation, the soldiers decided to come out and talk to those they could trust; saying that within the ranks, people were afraid of speaking as this could be their end.
The soldiers further described the event the VoA had publicized, stating that another soldier in the ambush who got wounded said the Colonel in charge of the unit left these set of soldiers, taking away all sophisticated fighting equipment and leaving them at the mercy of the better equipped ambushing army unit with only Ak47’s and one or two rounds.
The soldiers described frustration among military men taking part in the battle in the northeast, saying many were abandoning the army because they realize their aim of being soldiers has been undermined and the top military generals who benefit financially from equipment purchase and mobilization funding, and may be involved in a possible plot to depopulate the areas, in the conduction of the ongoing war are not going to stop the sabotage any time soon.
One of the officials who revealed this information, refreshed the events of the killing of Nigeria’s loved and distinguished veteran, General Muhammed Shuwa in 2012; explaining that at the time too, the defense guards stationed by his house were pulled away to facilitate his murder. The military man described so many cases of successful ‘Boko Haram’ attacks including a recent on students in which the army stationed was always suddenly pulled out preceding the attack or cases where the army responded to invaded villages telling them their village was not in their jurisdiction. [See: Revealed: Soldiers Watched As Gen. Shuwa Was Killed-PM News, Lagos]
Accusations of deliberate extrajudicial attacks are not alien to Nigeria’s security services. A recent attack at Keana in Nasarawa state, in which 15 innocent locals were summarily executed by military uniformed men with APC’s and military pickup trucks, has also been blamed on the Nigerian military, and an investigation is being conducted according to military spokesman, Major-General Chris Olukolade. On April 8, the Nigerian Human Rights (NHRC) indicted the military in “Apo 8” killings which happened right in the nation’s capital, Abuja. Locals in Zamfara also accuse the state security of knowing the perpetrators of the recurrent massacres including the latest this month where 250 were killed.

The military men told us candidly, “there is no more Boko Haram, Boko Haram is gone, it is military task force doing the killings now.”

Alhaji Amadu, the village head of Yar Galadima said several leaders of the military uniform wearing assassination squads, namely a certain Buhari (not the ex-president), a Kundu and another terrorist leader, Munjagara, have been arrested and released by government authorities who know where their terror dynasties from where they operate are located. Also related, on the possibility of top Nigerian security department involvement, is a recent ‘revelation’ by a Turkish airline manager about dropping off ammunition for terrorists at Nigeria’s Kano international airport. Nigeria’s government is yet to formally refute these allegations.
The army men further explained that with the amount of military checkpoints in the areas of conflict it was impossible for terrorists to ply freely with Armored Personnel Carriers, APC’s as they did. “No one can move about in those areas with all those checkpoints, how do the terrorists get around… it is because the army gives them passage,” he said.
On the Helicopters flying in Nigeria’s air spaces which has been happening for two years now, a soldier said that a person he knew who was kidnapped for a month in a Boko Haram camp described seeing these choppers fly over to drop weapons and food routinely; he said the food included good chicken and burgers from Mr. Biggs, food ordinary people could not afford and that came from the cities. He said it was impossible for choppers to keep flying safely like so in Nigeria’s monitored airspace without there being military involvement. It is reported that choppers also help the military dressed attackers who have been ravaging the middle belt of Nigeria, the states of Benue, Kaduna, Katsina and Zamfara.
One of the military sources also told us that a popular journalist mediator, Ahmad Saldika, who used to inform Nigerians on the true happenings with Boko Haram, left Nigeria on self-exile to the UAE because he was afraid of being killed by government forces who knew he knew the truth of the situation.
On the Giwa barrack attack that successfully freed hundreds of jailed terrorists, military sources told us that a ‘pin’ on the armored tank stationed to protect the barracks was surprisingly removed and thus the tank could not protect the barrack when ‘Boko Haram’ struck. They also queried why despite the military being informed three weeks to the attack, the military did not adequately beef up security to protect the Giwa barrack from the terrorists attack.
It was explained that Boko Haram was basically eliminated by the Joint task Force, JTF by August of 2013. The sudden withdrawal of the highly successful Joint task Force, JTF, special units that was collaborating well with the Civilian JTF and had succeeded in winning the war and even reported mortally injuring the terror leader, Abubakar Shekau, was a surprise to intelligence analysts world over and to the military men. [See analysis by Victoria Ibezim-Ohaeri: Disbanding the JTF in the North-east was a grave mistake; Ynaija] It can be recollected that it was immediately when the JTF reported success and their killing of Abubakar Shekau that the government suddenly announced the withdrawal of the JTF and their replacement with a new army division. This was followed by a new unexplainable escalation in terror and was when, according to the sources the new ‘Boko Haram’ came into being and its methods suddenly changed into the successful invasion and extermination of whole towns in the north by army uniform wearing fighters.

Full Details of How Borno Men Ambush & Kill B'Haram Terrorists
More details are coming in on how the brave Civilian-JTF, civilian vigilantes staved off a Boko Haram attack and possible abduction in Kalabalge local government, northeast Borno state, near the Cameroonian border.
More than 35 Boko Haram terrorists were captured. One APC and more than four hilux trucks and several motorcycles were captured from the terrorists.
At the time of this report, about 20 villagers were said to have lost their lives in the fierce, brave battle.
Nigerians in the worst affected regions are seeking the formal right to bear arms and defend themselves. The Borno Civilian-JTF sent this request to Nigeria’s President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in a meeting with security agents this month. The ENDS civil activist group also sent a formal request for Executive Authorization of the people to bear arms, supported by the government to defend their territory and hunt and eliminate Boko Haram terrorists. The government is yet to officially respond to the open letter delivered to the State secretary on April 25th, 2014.
In related news, there was Mutiny in the military today as soldiers reportedly attacked a General officer commanding (GOC) of the Nigerian army 7th division, Major General Abubakar Mohammed, who was accused of sabotaging the military mission and not reporting to a particular mission he was requested to. He was said to have fled as he was fired upon when he came to his office at the Maimalari barracks. The soldiers went in pursuit of the commander, whose whereabouts are not known as at the time of this report.

The villagers who were prepared for the Boko Haram attack had dug out trenches for the purpose. The Rann village, located in the middle of a Boko Haram strong-hold, had been attacked by Boko Haram in the recent past. In that attack they had allegedly acquired two light-weight armored tanks and some AK47 rifles.
They refused to turn in this ammunition to the government in an increasingly common response as more villages in the north are determined to take up arms to defend themselves in the current state of deadly insecurity. The invading terrorists who launched an early Tuesday morning attack on Rann, Shuwa and neighboring villages, were met by a strong and determined villager resistance. Over 200 terrorists were killed. The full number of the dead is not yet known as the villagers ran in pursuit of the escaping and injured terrorists into the bushes to continue their extermination.

Angry Borno Men Ambush Boko Haram Terrorists, Kill Over 200
The Jihad Against Boko! Civilians Kill 200 Boko Haram Terrorists In Borno Attack:
The rise of the civilians against terror took the Boko Haram saga to a new turn in the early hours of Tuesday when citizens of Rann, headquarters of Kala-Balge local government, Borno northeast, who had fore-knowledge of an impending Boko Haram attack, decided not to remain sitting ducks but prepared for battle.
According to reports we received from Civilian sources in Borno, over 400 Boko Haram terrorists stormed Rann and neighboring villages in the early hours of Tuesday, with their usual convoy of hilux trucks, motorcycles and Armored Personnel Carriers (APC) only to meet villagers ready for them this time.
The civilian villagers pounced on the terrorists with mere rocks, bows and arrows, local Dane guns, swords and “charms”. But as we have earlier reported, Boko Haram are more frightened of Civilian-JTF than they are of the Nigerian army, and run from the civilians even if they — the civilians — only have knives. The battle raged till the sun came up and ended with the civilians killing over 200 Boko Haram terrorists, capturing several prisoners and recovering several of their vehicles...
From an account of a civilian who participated in defending the neighborhoods, as reported in DailyTrust, “Our people also recovered over 70 motorcycles that the attackers came with. They also collected 2 Hilux vehicles and an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) while some of the attackers were captured alive.” [http://dailytrust.info/top-stories/23962-200-insurgents-killed-in-kala-balge-by-villagers]
This amazing victory of good over evil, promises a new direction in the war against terror that has wrecked hundreds of farming villages in the north of Nigeria in the last four years, largely unchecked by State security. Civilians determined to arrest a situation they believe the Nigerian security services has permitted to destroy their farming villages in various towns in the north east, have apparently decided take up a fighting posture against Boko Haram terrorists; no longer waiting for a military response that hardly ever comes.
Last week, Boko Haram terrorists ravaged Gondura Ngala town, freely without any hindrance from the Nigerian military drafted to the north, and decimated the entire town, killing over 300 residents. On April 14th, Boko Haram stormed Chibok and abducted over 200 girls. In that episode, Amnesty International reported that the Nigerian security services were fully informed of the impending attack, by civilian vigilantes and other Intel, several hours prior, yet did not alert or defend the village nor engage the terrorists for a full eight hours of the abduction, looting and destruction of the village.
A mother from Chibok reportedly told CNN, that “if the army is not ready to fight Boko Haram, then we will fight them ourselves.” Apparently that day has come.
The Civilian-JTF and ENDS.ng civil rights group is pressing the Nigerian government for the civilians to have the right and government support, to bear arms, to end the terror scourge once and for all. The government is yet to officially respond to this urgent request as villagers remain at the mercy of Boko Haram terrorists.
The Shehu of Bama is reported to have ordered his citizens to go get guns, after his town was completely decimated twice by Boko Haram terrorists with no military response for the full eight hours of carnage. More towns are expected to follow suit as the nations leadership sleeps and permits terrorists the largely unhindered freedom to operate, massacre and destroy Nigeria’s farmers and northern farming villages.
